Respect for your privacy and security is important to CliqueIA Tech Inc.

CliqueIA always maintains the confidentiality and security of any information that concerns an individual and makes it possible, directly or indirectly, to identify them.

This Privacy Policy aims to inform CliqueIA’s clients, suppliers, and website visitors about CliqueIA’s privacy practices regarding the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of Personal Information. Our commitment to you is clear:

  • Be concise, clear, and transparent;

  • Obtain your consent when required;

  • Allow you to exercise your rights regarding your Personal Information;

  • Protect the confidentiality of your Personal Information.

PRIVACY POLICY – THE BASICS

Our policy was developed in compliance with Law 25, officially known as the “Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information.” This Québec law aims to strengthen the protection of personal information for Québec citizens, both in the public and private sectors. Specifically, Law 25 adapts Québec’s regulatory framework to the digital era by giving citizens greater control over their personal data and by imposing greater responsibilities on the businesses and organizations that collect, use, or retain such information.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN THE PRIVACY POLICY

This Policy does not apply to the personal information of our employees or to non-personal information.

1. Collection of Personal Information

Clique IA limits the collection of Personal Information to what is necessary for its operations. At a minimum, Clique IA must collect the following personal information without which a business relationship would not be possible: your name, your physical address, your telephone number, your email address, financial information required for payments, as well as other information related to credit or billing.

Personal Information may be collected when you voluntarily provide it, when using our services or our Site, when purchasing our products or services, when completing one of our registration or subscription forms or surveys, or when you participate in a contest or a promotional activity. In addition, subject to applicable laws and regulations, your Personal Information may be communicated to us by third-party agents, subcontractors, vendors, service providers, or business partners to whom we provide our products and services.

When you provide us with Personal Information as part of a job opportunity—including, without limitation, your résumé—we treat this Personal Information confidentially and use it solely to evaluate your application for a position at Clique IA and to contact you regarding such employment opportunities. We will retain your application file for future employment opportunities at Clique IA only with your consent, for a period of up to one year from the date your application was received.

  • To respond to your inquiries and questions;

  • For customer service purposes;

  • To process payments and recover outstanding amounts;

  • To prevent fraud, theft, and other illegal activities and to protect ourselves;

  • In connection with potential business transactions;

  • To organize and administer contests or surveys in which you voluntarily participate;

  • To better understand your needs and preferences and to inform you of new offers and promotions related to them;

  • To measure the use of our Site and improve its functionality or content;

  • For any other purpose for which you have otherwise provided your consent;

  • To comply with any other legal or regulatory requirements applicable to Clique IA.

3. Disclosure of Personal Information

3.1 To Our Service Providers

We may disclose your Personal Information to service providers who process Personal Information on behalf of Clique IA in order to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. In such cases, we take reasonable steps to ensure that your Personal Information is processed securely and in accordance with this Policy. Specifically, we enter into written contracts with our service providers to:

  • Guarantee the confidentiality of your Personal Information;

  • Ensure that Personal Information is used solely for the provision of the service performed by the service provider;

  • Ensure that the service provider notifies us immediately in the event of a Confidentiality Incident or any attempt to cause one.

Although Clique IA operates in Canada, please note that some of our service providers who process Personal Information on our behalf may be located outside Québec or Canada.

In all cases in which we disclose your Personal Information outside Québec or Canada, we ensure that your Personal Information is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy and that a written agreement exists with the third party regarding the handling of your Personal Information.

Before communicating your Personal Information outside Québec, we always conduct a privacy impact assessment to evaluate inherent risks as well as the legal framework applicable in the jurisdiction where your information would be disclosed.
